Police gift bicycles to Ryecroft Academy
PCSOs from Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team, who work in Holme Wood, delivered 15 push bikes along with torches, night lights and lamps to Ryecroft Primary Academy.
A spokesperson for the Bradford South NPT said: “The school contacted us and asked for support in getting together some gifts for the 15 school students with 100% attendance for this school year.
“We were happy to help and have managed to source a push bike as a reward for all 15 children.
The school is really keen to ensure good attendance for all their students and felt this scheme would really motivate the children moving forward as they go into the summer holidays today.
Thanks to everyone involved, this was a brilliant example of partnership working.”
