Home Learning at Ryecroft Primary Academy is an opportunity for pupils to lead their own learning. It is useful because it embeds essential curriculum knowledge, provides an opportunity to extend learning and consolidates a variety of skills. Teachers offer challenges during lessons to encourage pupils to research and discover new facts and skills.

All pupils in EYFS and KS1 are expected to read regularly at home and share books.

In KS2 children complete maths and spelling activities on Emile and Reading Plus.
